Last War: Rookie Challenge Guide – Free & Premium Rewards

When you first start playing Last War, a special new-player event called the Rookie Challenge becomes available. This event rewards you for completing various in-game tasks, offering free items just for playing through the early stages. Your progress is tracked in a dedicated event interface where you can see both the available tasks and the rewards you’ve unlocked so far.

How the Rookie Challenge Works

The Rookie Challenge is built around earning Rookie Points. You gain these points by completing specific tasks listed in the event, such as upgrading buildings, training troops, or clearing campaign stages. As you accumulate points, you automatically unlock new reward tiers. The event UI clearly shows how many points you have, which rewards are waiting, and what your next milestone is.

Free and Premium Reward Tracks

There are two separate reward tracks in the Rookie Challenge. The free track gives you a selection of rewards as you reach each points-based milestone – no purchase necessary. For an optional fee of €11.99, you can unlock the premium track as well. Buying the premium pack immediately grants access to all premium rewards, without the need to earn them through points. This means you can claim both the free and premium tiers at any stage, as long as you’ve met the points requirement for that tier.

If you decide to invest in the premium pack, you’ll get additional valuable items that can give you a head start in Last War. The decision is entirely up to you – the free track alone still provides useful resources to help you progress through the early game. Whichever path you choose, completing as many Rookie Challenge tasks as possible will maximize your rewards before the event ends.
