🔧 Dialing in the Tune: Fuel Injection Perks

Back in the day, I’d be wielding a screwdriver and timing light. Now, thanks to the EFI swap, I just fire up the Holley Terminator X app on my phone. It’s a piece of cake to tweak the fuel maps and timing for the best fuel economy. Getting the tune right is a no-brainer before a long trip—you don’t want to be burning a hole in your wallet at every gas station. I’ve been ironing out the tune for weeks, and it’s finally in a good place.

🛢️ Fluids: The Lifeblood of Your Restomod

The motor just had its post-break-in oil change, so that’s fresh. But the transmission is due for its first gear oil swap after break-in. I can’t stress this enough: always start a long trip with clean fluids. It’s cheap insurance for the most expensive hunk of metal you’ve ever bolted into your car. I’ll also top off the coolant and check brake fluid.
