This flashy effect appears on player profiles, MVP screens, and during matchmaking, and it serves as the Grand Reward in the Faded Wheel (Luck Royale). The event is a premium, Diamond-only offering that runs for 14 days, so players should plan their spending carefully.

The Bring The Noise Faded Wheel

The Faded Wheel presents 10 visible rewards, but players must first remove any 2 of them before spinning among the remaining 8 items. Each spin costs a progressively higher amount of Diamonds. The first four spins cost 9, 19, 39, and 69 Diamonds respectively, followed by spins at 99, 149, 199, and a final spin of 499 Diamonds. Acquiring all eight unique rewards theoretically costs 1,082 Diamonds, but because duplicates can occur, it is wise to keep a buffer of around 1,200 Diamonds. The Grand Reward typically appears on the eighth and most expensive spin, so starting the wheel without enough Diamonds is not recommended.
