Brawl Stars Update: Brawlers Sam and Gus, PvE Mode
After a summer break, Supercell has released a new Brawl Talk episode detailing the next Brawl Stars update. The update introduces two new Brawlers, a fresh PvE mode, and several skins, with staggered release dates throughout September.
New Brawlers: Sam and Gus
Sam, a member of Belle’s trio, brings a unique playstyle centered around his Knuckle Busters. While equipped, his close-range attacks hit multiple enemies with increased power. When he has the Knuckle Busters, his Super bar is full at the start of the match, making him the first Brawler to spawn with a ready Super. His Super throws the Knuckle Busters outward, damaging enemies in their path, and using it again recalls them, dealing damage on the return.
Gus, described as a pajama-clad support Brawler, builds a bar with each attack. When the bar fills, he drops a ghost at the location of his next attack; Gus or allies can collect it to heal. He can leave multiple ghosts on the battlefield. His Super grants a shield to himself or an ally. Gus will release later in September, while Sam arrives with the next update.
Skins and Customization
The update brings several new skins. The Brawl Pass features Caesar Sam as the final tier and Desperado Poco as the first tier. Lawless Lola is the Power League skin. Crowbone and Stonks Pam are available for Gems. Moonbunny Squeak celebrates the Moon Festival in Asia. Trick or Treat Leon is a Halloween skin. Premium Mecha Mortis costs 299 Gems and includes custom voiceovers and visual effects. Players who purchase Mecha Mortis during its release month receive a free spray, profile picture, and pin set. Additional Halloween skins are planned for a later update.
