Wuthering Waves 3.2 Update – New Story, Sigrika, Events

Wuthering Waves has officially released Version 3.2, titled “Resolution to Iluminate the Shadows,” across all platforms. Since its launch in May 2024, the game has grown rapidly, introducing the nation of Lahai-Rai with motorbike traversal in Version 3.0, the Frostlands Surface area in Version 3.1, and earning a Player’s Voice win at The Game Awards 2025. The latest patch continues this momentum with new story content, a fresh 5-star Resonator, quality-of-life updates, and a packed events schedule.

New Story and Resonator

The update adds Chapter III: Act IV to the main storyline, alongside a Segue: Afterstory quest. Debuting is Sigrika, a 5-star Aero-element Resonator who uses Gauntlets. A student at Startorch Academy, she plays a pivotal role in the latest quest alongside Rover.

Banners and Rewards

Phase 1 limited banners feature Sigrika and Qiuyuan. Phase 2 will rerun Lynae, Zani, and Phoebe. Players can log in for seven days to claim up to ten free pulls, and up to 600 compensation Astrite is available via in-game mail until the end of Version 3.2.

Quality-of-Life and Graphics Improvements

Several gameplay optimizations arrive in 3.2. Players can now directly claim rewards from Resonator trials completed in earlier patches. The Expedition Motorbike has been improved to prevent getting stuck on terrain. Echo management sees a Smart Discard feature for filtering unwanted Echoes, plus the ability to share and import configurations. On the graphics front, a new “High Quality” option is available for higher-end mobile devices, and PC players can now adjust render distance individually, addressing frame-rate complaints from Version 3.1.
