Black Myth: Wukong – Drunk Pig Quest Guide & Rewards

In Chapter 2 of Black Myth: Wukong, you’ll find a yellow-robed pig slumped near a cliff edge, completely drunk and demanding more alcohol. He won’t cooperate until you give him a special item: the Sobering Stone. This item is sold by a nearby merchant locked behind its own quest, but completing this entire chain unlocks a valuable secret zone and unique rewards.

Finding the Drunk Pig

From the Rockrest Flat checkpoint, look for a narrow gap in the rocks ahead. Squeeze through it and you’ll see the Drunk Pig lying against a large stone. Speak to him and he’ll ask for something to cure his hangover.

Getting the Sobering Stone

The Sobering Stone is sold by the Man-in-Stone merchant, who is located in the ravine near the Squall Hideout checkpoint. However, you can’t access his shop until you finish his own questline. First, defeat the Mother of Stone boss in the nearby cave system, then return and confront the Man-in-Stone. After this, he becomes a vendor. Buy the Sobering Stone and bring it back to the Drunk Pig.

The Pig’s Next Request

Now sober, the pig announces he’s hungry and moves to the Temple of the Crouching Tiger. Travel to the Temple Entrance checkpoint. Before entering the arena where you’ll face the Tiger Vanguard, look to the right — the pig is resting against a wall at the dead end. Speak to him and he’ll ask for food: a Jade Lotus.

You can find a Jade Lotus in the starting area of Chapter 2, near where you first meet the headless wanderer. Look for small plants growing in the water. Give one to the pig, and he rewards you with a gold trinket (its exact name is not given, but it is a valuable accessory).
