Lord of Hatred Patch 3.0.2: Balance Tweaks & Fixes

Patch 3.0.2 for the Lord of Hatred expansion has arrived a week after launch, delivering a broad mix of balance tweaks, quality-of-life additions, and a substantial number of bug fixes across quests, activities, items, and seasonal systems.

Set Charm Visibility and Class Adjustments

Set Charms now play a unique drop sound and sport a distinct minimap icon, making them much easier to spot in loot piles. The Rogue’s Nilfur’s Narrow Eye talisman received a tooltip update to clarify that all 3-piece bonuses require Vengeance to be active, and a related fix prevents the 5-piece Marksman bonus from persisting without Vengeance stacks.

The Druid’s Storm Shepherd set was reworked: the 5-piece bonus now correctly stacks with the 2-piece bonus instead of overriding it, and the 2-piece buff now boosts all Storm Skills while active. To compensate, its maximum bonus has been reduced from 75% to 40%. Additionally, Mark of the Old Wolf now includes a Damage over Time multiplier for its direct damage bonus, and its Poisoning damage became multiplicative rather than additive.

New Features and Interface Improvements

Echo of Mephisto and Echoing Hatred have been added to the Party Finder. Additional loading screen tips now explain new mechanics, and the Chromatic Tuning Prism tooltip has been clarified to indicate it can target a single Resistance. Players can also teleport directly to an active War Plan objective; if none is active, the portal defaults to Temis.

Quest Progression Fixes

Numerous progression blockers were resolved. For example, using a Town Portal during the Confront Mephisto objective in the Death quest no longer blocks progress, players can no longer
