MLB The Show 2026: Summer Series Rewards & Guide

The Summer Series returns to Diamond Dynasty for 2026, bringing the same card art as last year. That design consistency suggests this is now an annual drop, though it also underscores how late-season content can feel a bit stale. The upside is a program that’s quick to complete—you only need 100 stars, and many missions award 10 stars for simple tasks like getting five strikeouts with any pitcher. A handful of Moments can speed things up even further.

Program Rewards

The program’s marquee Red Diamond rewards are Corey Seager (96 OVR) at shortstop and Corey Kluber (95 OVR) on the mound. Chase Headley (95 OVR), Grant Taylor (94 OVR), and Brent Rooker (94 OVR) round out the path. Seager is one of the best hitters you can use right now, even if he falls just outside the top-10 at his position. Kluber, on the other hand, looks like a top-10 SP on paper but has sub-100 pitching attributes and noticeably less break on his pitches. He’ll still get outs, but be cautious starting him in mid-level Ranked play.

Event, Mini Seasons, and Conquest

A new Event ties progress to squad composition (Summer Series, Jolt, 25-and-younger, and Live Series Bronze/lower players). You earn PXP toward an Event Rewind pack—20,000 PXP is required, less than previous events. The featured card is Roman Anthony (96 OVR) of the Red Sox.

Mini Seasons gets a fresh challenge where you can choose the innings and number of games, letting you speed through a seven-game, three-inning run. Featured rewards include Jeromy Burnitz (95), Mike Napoli (94), Carlos Rodon (94), and Tony Fernandez (94).
