Diablo 4 Lord of Hatred: First Hotfixes

Maxroll presents the first batch of hotfixes for Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred, addressing key progression blockers and unintended combat tuning. These updates aim to smooth the player experience in the expansion, particularly for party play and specific questlines.

Hotfix Updates

Progression issues received immediate attention. The quest The Soil, The Seed, the Fruit previously could block forward progress; this has been resolved. Additionally, completing the quest Last of the Horadrim while in a party only credited one member and failed to unlock the Talisman tab for others—both problems are now fixed.

Combat balance adjustments were also applied. The Schadenfreude variant for Iron Maiden and the Bramble variant for Bone Prison were dealing significantly more damage than intended, and their values have been corrected. Monster health scaling was also addressed: certain enemies such as Pangs of Duriel and Infernal Prison had much higher health pools than planned, bringing them in line with expectations.

Ongoing Content Support

The Maxroll team continues to refine resources for the Lord of Hatred expansion. Build Guides are being updated to reflect new items, features, and mechanic changes, while D4Planner enhancements are in active development.
