Ready or Not 2: Sequel in Development

After months of public speculation, it is now official: Ready or Not 2 is in active development. Paramount Pictures and the filmmaking duo Radio Silence (Tyler Gillett and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin) confirmed the sequel at a Searchlight screening of the original film, later reinforcing the announcement with an Instagram post showing star Samara Weaving holding a card that reads “Ready or Not 2,” captioned “Here we come.”

Weaving’s Early Tease

Weaving had already hinted at the sequel in an interview with ComicBook, offering a characteristically on-brand response. “I’m all in. I think we’re all in,” she said, adding, “I don’t know if we’ve had our blood handshake, but pretty much. We’ve done the spit handshake, but we haven’t cut each other’s hands and rubbed our blood together.” Given the original film’s plot—a bride forced into a deadly hide-and-seek ritual by her wealthy, devil-worshipping in-laws—a blood pact feels entirely appropriate.
